I am a geochemist with interests in understanding the chemical evolution of planets. I am particularly interested in the important role that volatile elements play. My research is focused on the noble gas (He, Ne, Ar, Kr, Xe and Ar-Ar) and halogen group (Cl, Br, I) elements, and is heavily rooted in rock and mineral chemistry, petrology, and petrography.
I am currently based in the Dept. of Earth and Environmental Sciences at the University of Ottawa as an Adjunct Professor (Autumn 2022). Prior to this, I spent 12 years as a Research Fellow and Research Associate at the University of Manchester.
